Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Anndrea Hermann has always had a passion for industrial hemp. While an undergraduate at Missouri Southern State University, she spent summers interning for the Parkland Industrial Hemp Growers, in Manitoba, Canada. Anndrea eventually moved to Canada to pursue her Masters in hemp fiber agronomy at the University of Manitoba and remained there to establish her own hobby farm, office and warehouse.
Today, Anndrea is not only an important voice and activist in the Canadian hemp industry but also a key driving force in industrial hemp development in the United States and globally.
We recently had the honor of welcoming Anndrea Hermann on our winter production trip to China. Upon her return we asked Anndrea to share some of her impressions.
In this film Anndrea shares with us her passion for hemp, her industry expertise, and key takeaways from visiting the HoodLamb hemp fields and factories in China.
